As AncestryUK has released Royal Air Force Operations Records Books, 1911-1963 this week. Below is Ian’s fathers enlistment record to the RAF, he joined age 17.
Jane shared another photograph, this time it Jessie Forrest McCallum’s parents seated. We think the photograph also contains Jessie’s sister, Isabella Hepburn McCallum and Isabella’s husband. Jessie Hunter, as she became, was Jane and Ian’s paternal grandmother.
