We have been informed by one of our relatives that Catherine Walton may have ended up in a work house at some stage in her life. Isn’t life is a funny thing, in just a few generations, one of Catherine’s descendants, is now a sitting High Court Judge in the UK, so from the Work House to the Court House seems to be an apt phrase.
The judge and her siblings are related via their mother to Jane and Ian’s families, Jane and Ian are third cousins once removed to the judge and siblings. If we had never broken through our “Brick Wall” we never would have discovered so many interesting things about our ancestors or the extended family we knew nothing about.
