This post provides a link to a webpage where Ian will explain how, if you are familiar with spreadsheets how you can search DNA segment data similarly to the GEDMatch Tier 1 tool.
Ian developed this tool using OpenOffice Calc when he realised the 1501 relative limitation at 23andMe. You can extract / copy the chromosome segment data from 23andMe, then use MyHeritage to increase your potential DNA matches.

If you click the hyperlink “Compare with more relatives” show above, a new webpage will open on which you can select relatives to compare. This provides detailed segment information, as shown below.

One caveat is that you will know the shared matches share DNA with you at the specific place on the chromosome, though at this point you may not know which of the half the chromosome pair it belongs to, unless you already know how some of your matches relate to you, i.e. maternal or paternal.
