We use a colourised version of this photograph as the background of our website; Jane and her father believe the girl between Joseph Leigh and Jane to be Jane’s daughter Robina Forrest Johnston (1891–1956). Robina’s father was James Bonar Johnston (1865-1893)
Jane Forrest Kerr had a total of six children, four with James Bonar Johnston, her first husband, one with Joseph Leigh Hunter and a daughter(Jane Forrest Bennet Kerr 1882-1955) before her first marriage.
