Jane’s father Joseph inherited a number of photographs from his late parents, the photographs were only found after the passing of his Jane and Ian’s grandmother in 2006. Jane’s father, Joseph, could not place who or where the photographs were from or of whom. Below is one of a young man. At the bottom you can just make out “The Armstrong”
With help from a librarian at the Nelsonville Public Library, we are able to place the young man in Nelsonville, Athens County, Ohio. The library provided the image below.
This posed more questions. Why would 2 residents of Bathgate, Scotland, have a photograph of someone taken in Ohio, USA? What possibly could be the connection?
