November 2018, Ian uploaded his Ancestry DNA test to the MyHeritage.com website. Hoping that someone connected to his paternal line might have a DNA test at MyHeritage. Ian was still searching for the Hunter family that we think Leigh and Joseph Leigh belonged to. We found plenty of people with shared DNA on different family lines. Though still no joy in finding Leigh Hunter or anyone else connected to him.
Ian likes MyHeritage, as it allows you to visualise where on the chromosomes you match someone you share DNA with. Ian thinks that MyHeritage is also slightly better than Ancestry.co.uk at showing relations in common.
